Biotra®Characteristics
Biotra®Enhanced-Biological Activated Carbon system is an innovative biological wastewater treatment technology based on adsorption, biological degradation and online recovery, and re-adsorption process. It effectively removes hard-to-treat COD, ammonia nitrogen or total nitrogen without causing secondary pollution. This modified fixed bed system combining physical adsorption onto activated carbon and biodegradation through biofilms can be applied to a wide range of biological wastewater treatment applications. - No periodic replacement for carbon media and microorganisms with less than 5% annual material loss
